# Spectra Studio 隱私權政策（Privacy Policy）

本政策說明 Spectra Studio（光譜分析繪圖工具）如何處理您的資料。
簡而言之：**您的數據檔案完全留在您的電腦上；本軟體不收集、不上傳您的數據。**

### 1. 我們收集什麼

**本軟體（桌面應用程式）：**

- **您的數據檔案：不收集。** 所有載入、處理與繪圖均在您的電腦本機進行，
  數據檔案與圖表永遠不會上傳或傳送至任何伺服器。
- **授權資訊：不收集。** 授權機制為離線驗證。軟體會讀取本機硬體識別碼以產生
  「本機代碼」並綁定授權，但此代碼不會離開您的電腦，我們也無法得知您的機器資訊。
- **版本檢查（自動）**：啟動時可能靜默查詢我們的版本資訊（version.json）以
  檢查是否有新版本，僅傳送您的軟體版本編號與介面語言，不含任何個人資料。
- **遙測（可選，未來版本）**：若未來加入使用統計，一律為**明示同意（opt-in）**，

### 1. What We Collect

**The desktop application:**

- **Your data files: NOT collected.** All loading, processing and plotting happen
  locally on your computer. Your data files and figures are never uploaded or sent
  to any server.
- **License information: NOT collected.** Licensing is verified offline. The
  software reads a local hardware identifier to generate a "machine code" and bind
  your license, but this code never leaves your computer and we cannot see your
  machine information.
- **Version check (automatic)**: On startup the software may silently query our
  version manifest (version.json) to check for updates. Only your software version
  number and UI language are transmitted — no personal data.
- **Telemetry (optional, future versions)**: If usage statistics are added in the
  future, they will be strictly **opt-in** and limited to feature-usage counters
  (e.g., "the peak-fitting button was pressed 3 times"). We will **never** transmit
  data content, file names, or any personally identifiable information.

**The website (hujerry96.github.io):**

- The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and may be subject to GitHub's server logs
  (including IP addresses); please refer to GitHub's privacy policy.
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

**Purchases and payments:**

- Purchases are processed by Gumroad (or another platform in the future). Your
  name, email and payment details are handled by that platform under its own
  privacy policy. We only receive order information (e.g., product and quantity)
  to issue licenses.

### 2. How We Use Information

We use the information above solely to: deliver update notifications, issue and
manage licenses, and respond to your support requests.

### 3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not share your information
with third parties except as described in this policy (payment processing) or as
required by law.

### 4. Data Retention

We do not retain your data files. Order records related to licensing are kept per
the platform's policy; you may contact us at any time to request deletion.

### 5. Children's Privacy

The Software is intended for professional and academic use. It is not designed for
children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

### 6. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced on our website or in software
release notes.
