Is the Free edition really free with no trial deadline?
Yes. Free has no countdown, watermark, or account requirement. It covers loading, preprocessing, peak detection, styling, and PNG/JPG export.
Will my experimental data be uploaded?
No. Analysis and plotting run locally. Only Pro activation and periodic license validation require an internet connection.
Why might Windows show a SmartScreen warning?
The installer is not using a paid code-signing certificate yet, so Windows may warn about a new publisher. Download from GitHub Releases and compare the supplied SHA-256 if you want to verify the file.
Can I use figures from the Free edition in a paper?
Yes. Free exports have no watermark and no attribution requirement. You may use them in papers, presentations, and reports.
Do I need another installer after buying Pro?
No. Free and Pro are in the same installer. Paste the key delivered by Polar into the application to unlock Pro.
Does it support macOS or Linux?
The current release supports 64-bit Windows 10 and 11. A macOS build is still under evaluation.
